AerCap Leases Two Converted 777-300ERSF Freighters to Turkish Airlines

DUBLIN – October 29, 2026 -- AerCap Holdings N.V. (NYSE: AER) has signed lease agreements with Turkish Airlines for two Boeing 777-300ERSF converted freighters, with deliveries scheduled between March and September 2027.

Etihad Engineering in Abu Dhabi will convert both aircraft before delivery

The conversions will take place at the Etihad Engineering MRO hub in Abu Dhabi. AerCap says the facility lets it serve customers efficiently across the wider EMEA region.

Peter Anderson, AerCap's Chief Commercial Officer, said the aircraft will give Turkish Airlines additional cargo capacity and describes the dedicated conversion line as an important regional platform capability.

AerCap adds Turkish Airlines to a growing 777-300ERSF customer list

AerCap delivered its first 777-300ERSF converted freighter to launch customer Kalitta Air in September 2025. Since then, it has delivered aircraft to Fly Meta and signed lease agreements with Ethiopian Airlines and China Southern Group.

With Turkish Airlines, the program now counts at least five customers across launch delivery, active deliveries and signed leases. The source does not disclose lease terms, financial values or the total number of aircraft AerCap has committed to the program.
