Frankfurt am Main – October 29, 2026 -- Agile Heroes GmbH plans to offer its AI training courses to companies eligible for state funding, with subsidies covering up to 100 percent of course costs and up to 75 percent of wage costs during training. The offer depends on a certification the company has yet to complete.
Employment agency funding can cover up to 100% of course fees
Funding is available through the Agentur für Arbeit under rules on employee qualification, expanded by the Qualifizierungschancengesetz. Depending on company size and individual circumstances, course costs can be covered partly or fully. Employers can also receive wage subsidies of up to 75 percent for the target group addressed, under the relevant conditions.
The maximum rates do not apply automatically. Company size, participant qualifications and approval of the specific course all determine eligibility, and the local Agentur für Arbeit decides whether and how much funding is granted.
Agile Heroes bets on live training over pre-recorded video
Managing Director Lars Rayher argues that the funding rate says nothing about course quality. He warns that employees who are absent from daily work for extended periods and still cannot apply AI have cost their employer working time for no gain.
The company has operated in B2B training and consulting for about ten years. Its client list includes Tesla, Bosch and Amazon, as well as mid-sized firms. Its trainers also work as AI consultants or organizational developers. The courses are delivered live, and an IHK qualification is planned for the programme.
Pre-screening and application support target small employers
Before enrollment, Agile Heroes checks whether a course fits each candidate's skills and job requirements. It also groups participants with comparable knowledge and reviews basic funding prerequisites.
After pre-qualification, the company plans a follow-up conversation with the managing director or the responsible person. It covers funding options, required documents and next steps. Agile Heroes then intends to guide applicants through the digital application process.
