Air Products Foundation Ties Donation to Booth Visits
For each visitor to its exhibit and hospitality event, the Air Products Foundation will contribute $100, capped at a total of $15,000, to support the next generation of ceramic and glass professionals. The event runs 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. ET on Sept. 14 and 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. ET on Sept. 15 in Salon 2 of the Renaissance Toledo Downtown Hotel.
Company Showcases Oxy-Fuel and Waste Heat Recovery Technologies
Air Products will present industrial gas supply innovations including oxygen enrichment, oxy-fuel combustion, waste heat recovery, and smart technologies designed to increase glass production, cut fuel consumption, improve glass quality, and reduce emissions. Industry specialists will be on-site to address operational challenges facing glass manufacturers.
Glass Industry Council to Present Air Products-Sponsored Award
At the conference opening at Toledo's Glass City Center, the Glass Manufacturing Industry Council will present its Women in Glass Award, sponsored by Air Products. The annual award recognizes women demonstrating excellence in leading, motivating, and developing others within the glass industry.
