ZAGREB – November 04, 2026 -- AlphaESS has installed more than 300 TB125 battery systems across Croatia, Slovenia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, totaling over 80 MWh of storage capacity. The company disclosed the figure at Green Energy Fair 2026, held October 28-29 at Arena Zagreb.
Croatia took over 100 TB125 units in 2026, mainly for frequency regulation
Each TB125 unit is rated at 125 kW / 261 kWh. AlphaESS said the Croatian deliveries were primarily for frequency regulation projects, which support grid stability and create new revenue opportunities for operators. It cited energy policy changes, rising solar adoption, and demand for grid flexibility as the drivers of the Adriatic market.
AlphaESS debuts the STORION-LC-TB150 C&I system in Croatia
The TB150 uses dual liquid cooling for both batteries and the power conversion system (PCS). AlphaESS lists the following specifications:
- 91.7% round-trip efficiency
- Temperature variation of 3°C or less
- Noise of 65 dB(A) or less
The company claims 20% more power and 230 MWh greater projected lifetime energy delivery than comparable systems. It also cites multi-layer safety protection.
Utility-scale line adds the higher-density Aster 6260
AlphaESS launched the Aster 6260, which offers higher energy density, within its large-scale portfolio for renewable integration and grid flexibility. For households, it showed the single-phase SMILE-G3-S6 and the three-phase SMILE-G3-T10.
Self-developed EMS and local support back the hardware
AlphaESS runs its own Energy Management System (EMS) and cloud platform. It has had a European presence since 2015 and gives regional partners technical training, installation guidance, and after-sales support.
