Puchheim – November 02, 2026 -- Amway's fifth Amway Cares Week of Service drew more than 1,300 employees who logged over 7,000 volunteer hours for more than 60 nonprofit organizations. It was the first edition spanning 12 countries.

The event ran Aug. 4-6 in West Michigan, where the program began. In the other participating countries, activities were spread over several weeks. Projects included fieldwork, support for food banks and food distribution, playground construction and packing of emergency relief kits. The focus was on food security, access to fresh food and safe play spaces for children.

CEO Michael Nelson said the week lets employees put the company's values into practice.

Eleven German employees serve breakfast to about 80 pupils in Puchheim

On July 17, 2026, eleven employees of Amway Germany worked alongside two coordinators at the Grundschule am Gernerplatz in Puchheim. They prepared waffles and smoothies for roughly 80 children.

The school has served breakfast every school day since April 2024. The parents' council and the school's support association run it together with the municipal project "Kinderfreundliche Kommune".

Amway adds EUR 10,000 for the school breakfast in its 50th year in Germany

To mark 50 years of Amway in Germany, the company contributed EUR 10,000 to the project. Jon Voskuil, Managing Director for Europe, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand, said Amway wants to help when children in its home community start lessons without breakfast, and backs the project both financially and in the kitchen.

Amway was founded in Germany in 1975 and has been headquartered in Puchheim since 1991. From there it also steers business in Europe, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand. By its own account, the company donated more than EUR 400,000 to social projects in Germany between 2015 and 2024.
