Andersen Expands Triple-Pane and Black Options Across 400, 100 Series

Bayport, Minn. – November 06, 2026 -- Andersen Windows has rolled out enhancements across its 400 Series and 100 Series lines, led by wider nationwide availability of triple-pane glass. The launch targets a renovation market in which 54% of homeowners completed a project in the past year, according to Houzz.

Andersen extends triple-pane glass across 400 Series windows

The company expanded nationwide availability of triple-pane glass on select 400 Series products and added triple-pane options for double-hung, picture and transom windows. Patio doors in the line gain black interior and exterior color options. Double-hung picture windows receive factory-applied interior wood trim, while casement and tilt-wash double-hung windows get contemporary grille profiles. Casement, awning and picture windows add contemporary glazing beads.

Outswing folding doors gain a contemporary panel design option and concealed shoot bolt hardware across all door panel types.

100 Series double-hung windows go nationwide with new insert frame

Andersen made 100 Series double-hung windows available nationwide and added an insert frame option. Triple-pane glass now extends to 100 Series shapes and geometric windows. The line also gets a custom radius option for equal-leg arch windows and a black sill option for gliding patio doors.

Andersen cited Zillow research showing that 35% of new construction buyers specifically sought a home they could customize during construction.

Taos and Whistler patio door hardware adds four exclusive finishes

New Taos and Whistler hardware styles range from clean and streamlined to refined and sculptural. Matte Bronze, Sand, Graphite Gray and Satin Brass finishes are available exclusively on these two styles.

Jessica Ehrlichmann, vice president and general manager of Andersen's windows and doors business units, said the additions give builders and homeowners "more flexibility to achieve architectural visions" while keeping performance and installation ease. She added that the extra 400 Series triple-pane offerings help customers meet energy-efficiency goals and keep performance consistent across complete window packages.
