Baton Rouge, La. – September 16, 2026 -- APTIM has been selected for a $145 million Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Multiple Award Contract with the US Department of the Navy to provide Architect-Engineer services for Petroleum, Oils, and Lubricants (POL) systems worldwide, with work scheduled through August 2031.
NAVFAC EXWC awards APTIM engineering role covering global fuel infrastructure
The contract, administered by the Naval Facilities Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center (NAVFAC EXWC), covers engineering and design services for POL systems and supporting facilities at Navy and Marine Corps installations globally.
Two-decade track record includes 128 task orders worth $685M
Since 2004, APTIM has completed 128 POL task orders for NAVFAC EXWC valued at more than $685 million, spanning architect-engineer services for construction, sustainment, restoration, and modernization projects. Brandon Haggard, Sr. Director of Engineering & Sciences at APTIM, said the award reflects trust built with NAVFAC EXWC and Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Energy over two decades of performance.
Second Navy fuel contract expands APTIM's construction role
The engineering award follows APTIM's selection as one of 10 prime contractors on NAVFAC EXWC's separate $997 million Global POL IDIQ Multiple Award Construction Contract, a five-year vehicle covering construction, maintenance, repair, inspection, testing, design, and engineering for pipelines, fuel storage tanks, and associated POL facilities worldwide.
Combined, the two contracts give APTIM eligibility to compete across the full lifecycle of Navy, Marine Corps, and DLA Energy fuel infrastructure requirements globally.
