San Francisco – October 29, 2026 -- Arango, a graph-native data platform provider, has opened an expanded office in Cologne to host customer training and architecture workshops, and it convened its first Customer Advisory Board there with 12 customers on October 22.
The office is located at the Deichmannhaus, Bahnhofsvorplatz 1. It extends Arango's presence in Germany and the DACH region and gives customers and partners across EMEA direct access to the company's engineering and technical teams.
Arango targets two production bottlenecks for AI agents and graph workloads
The workshops address two problems the company says enterprises face when moving to production. AI agents struggle when answers depend on connected, current data across multiple sources, and can miss context without the relationships, freshness and supporting evidence that tie data together.
Graph applications can also hit a ceiling when a connected graph outgrows a single server. Teams then face slower multi-hop queries, bigger machines, graph splitting or migration. Arango says its platform distributes one connected graph across multiple servers while preserving the relationships applications need to query.
Sessions will cover reliable AI agents built with knowledge graphs and GraphRAG, and scaling graph applications as data, query complexity and usage grow. Customers can also work on application modernization and test architectures against real-world performance requirements.
"Building an AI application prototype is one thing. Making it reliable and scalable in production is another," said CEO Shekhar Iyer.
Inaugural advisory board takes customer input on product roadmap
The board's 12 customers and Arango executives discussed interoperability across systems, security and governance, developer productivity, data recovery, and requirements for scaling AI and graph applications in production. Arango says the board will become an ongoing forum for customers to give feedback and work with its product and engineering leaders.
Arango is also hiring, with 17 open roles across North America, Europe and India, including remote positions.
