Mexico City – September 7, 2026 -- Grupo Aeroportuario del Sureste (NYSE: ASR; BMV: ASUR) has closed its acquisition of Motiva Infraestrutura de Mobilidade S.A.'s (B3: MOTV3) entire equity interest in Companhia de Participações em Concessões (CPC) for R$5.1 billion (US$992.2 million), following customary closing adjustments.

The transaction follows the agreement signed on November 18, 2025, and was completed after satisfaction of all conditions precedent. ASUR financed the purchase through a loan facility arranged at the time it submitted its offer to Motiva.
Deal adds 20 airports across Brazil, Ecuador, Costa Rica and Curaçao to ASUR's network
The acquisition brings 20 airports across four markets into ASUR's portfolio, with Brazil representing the company's entry into Latin America's largest aviation market by passenger traffic. The company described the transaction as a key component of its growth strategy.
Motiva's airport platform served roughly 45 million passengers annually before the sale
The airport assets divested by Motiva comprised 17 airports in Brazil and three international airports, together serving approximately 45 million passengers per year. Motiva, Brazil's largest mobility infrastructure company, continues to operate 37 assets across 13 Brazilian states, including 4,475 kilometers of toll roads and a rail platform carrying 750 million passengers annually, and employs more than 16,000 people.
ASUR's existing portfolio spans 16 airports across the Americas, including nine in southeastern Mexico led by Cancún Airport, and six in northern Colombia, including Medellin's Rionegro international airport. The company also holds a 60% stake in Aerostar Airport Holdings, operator of Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and runs commercial retail operations through ASUR US Airports at Los Angeles International, Chicago O'Hare and John F. Kennedy International.
