Monticello, Mississippi – November 03, 2026 -- Atlas-SSI, Inc. has acquired Linita Design & Manufacturing, a custom hydro-mechanical equipment maker with more than 35 years of experience, to broaden its water control and debris management offering for dams and hydropower facilities. The announcement did not include financial terms.
Linita adds gates, hoists and trash-rack systems to the Atlas-SSI portfolio
Linita designs and manufactures custom water-control gates, hoists, cranes, stoplogs, trash-rack systems and hydraulic actuation. Its equipment serves dams, hydropower facilities and other critical infrastructure.
Atlas-SSI describes itself as North America's leading full-service provider of water management solutions. Its current portfolio spans screens, gates, barriers, wastewater treatment equipment and flood protection systems, supported by certified field service and dive teams for installation, inspection and maintenance.
Atlas-SSI targets hydroelectric retrofits at existing dams
Atlas-SSI President and CEO Paul Lewis said the combination will help dam owners add hydroelectric generation to existing facilities. He also said it will expand the company's presence in the broader hydropower market, calling the synergies between Linita's manufacturing and Atlas-SSI's water control expertise "significant."
The deal adds manufacturing resources for complex infrastructure projects to Atlas-SSI's field-service and installation base.
Linita CEO Carlos Vera said customers can expect the same quality, reliability and service standards after the transaction.
