Atomicwork Launches Marketplace of Certified AI Coworkers for IT

SAN FRANCISCO – November 06, 2026 -- Atomicwork has launched an AI Coworker Marketplace offering six pre-built, certified AI Coworkers for enterprise IT and security teams, with customer data showing access requests that need no approval clear in a median 18 seconds.

The initial lineup covers cloud infrastructure, access management, security, network and device operations. It comprises Atom (employee support operations), Cloud Ops Engineer, Access Ops Manager, Network Ops Engineer, Sec Ops Manager and Device Ops Engineer. The roles work across systems including AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Okta, Active Directory, Splunk and Datadog.

Certification targets the gap in agent marketplaces

Atomicwork says most agent marketplaces list available agents but offer limited evidence of what they can do. Its certification verifies that each AI Coworker has the integrations and skills its role requires. Each has also been evaluated against realistic enterprise use cases. The aim is to spare IT teams the work of connecting systems, defining procedures and validating an agent's capabilities.

CEO and co-founder Vijay Rayapati said enterprise IT teams need AI Coworkers they can trust "with real operational work" rather than a catalog of demo-grade agents.

Cloud Ops Engineer covers AWS, Azure and Google Cloud diagnostics

The Cloud Ops Engineer performs diagnostics, triages incidents and identifies gaps across the three cloud platforms. It draws on an organization's existing skill and code libraries. The Access Ops Manager handles employee access requests and automates recurring provisioning workflows across identity and access systems.

Governance controls span network access, tools and code execution

Each AI Coworker can have its own operating procedures, tools, permissions, reporting structure and budget. Organizations can track its output with metrics they already apply to human teams, including mean time to resolution and tickets handled. Atomicwork also provides controls over network access, tools and code execution.

Customers can deploy the AI Coworkers with different AI models and agent harnesses, including within their own infrastructure. Weekly recommendations compare actual performance against expected behavior and flag where skills or procedures need improvement. Atomicwork also supports Okta's Cross App Access (XAA) protocol, an OAuth extension for secure agent-to-app and app-to-app connections. XAA lets AI Coworkers act on behalf of authorized users while enterprise access controls stay in place.

Access Ops Manager is the second most deployed AI Coworker after Atom

Across Atomicwork customers using access automation, applications that need no approval have a median turnaround of 18 seconds. Those requiring approval have a median turnaround of 2.5 hours.

Third-party AI Coworkers planned after Atomicwork-built launch lineup

The marketplace is the first stage of a broader plan for an enterprise AI Coworker ecosystem. At launch, all AI Coworkers are built and certified by Atomicwork, while third parties can contribute skills and integrations through its MCP store and skill registry. Atomicwork plans to let outside organizations publish their own AI Coworkers and validate them against its enterprise evaluation benchmarks.
