St. Petersburg, Florida – October 16, 2026 -- Attilio, a longevity platform launched in September 2026, has appointed Dr. Eric Verdin, President and CEO of the Buck Institute for Research on Aging, as Co-Chairman. The company prices the Dr. Verdin Baseline Assessment(TM), built on his research, at $2,500 per member.
Verdin brings Buck Institute research access to Attilio's care model
The Buck Institute describes itself as the first independent biomedical research institute focused solely on aging and age-related disease. Founded in Novato, California, it helped establish the field known as geroscience.
Attilio says Verdin gives it direct access to the biomarkers, imaging and clinical protocols the Institute uses to study aging in humans. He will shape the scientific direction of member care, the company says, based on research into which interventions extend healthy life and which fail under scrutiny. Verdin has also testified before the U.S. Congress on the science of aging.
Paid baseline assessment anchors the commercial offer
The Dr. Verdin Baseline Assessment(TM), sold to members for $2,500, rests on the same Buck Institute research. Attilio states that its memberships operate under Conflict-Free Standards(TM), with no commissions, no revenue sharing and no self-dealing.
Paul A. Pagnato, CEO and Founder of Attilio, said Verdin is "all in on this mission" and will help shape the company's next direction. Attilio's stated goal is to reach 99% of the U.S. population with access to a +100 year quality lifespan.
Verdin headlines Attilio's inaugural Longevity Event on October 29-30
The two-day event takes place at Stanford University and the Buck Institute on October 29 and 30, 2026. Verdin appears alongside Dr. Laura Carstensen, Dr. Robert Waldinger of Harvard Medical School and Dr. Dean Ornish.
