Attuned Launches AI Medicaid Tool as OCHIN Signs On First

BOSTON – November 05, 2026 -- Attuned Intelligence has launched Attuned Coverage, an AI voice and chat tool for Medicaid applications and renewals, with OCHIN becoming the first health care network to offer it to member organizations that care for more than 8.7 million people.

OCHIN selects Attuned as preferred partner across 2,400 sites

OCHIN, a nonprofit that supports more than 47,000 clinicians across over 2,400 rural and community-based delivery sites, named Attuned a preferred partner. Lynn Community Health Center, an OCHIN member in Massachusetts, was the lead adopter. Its frontline staff helped shape the product around the needs of enrollment teams and patients.

Renewal cycle shortens to six months from January 2027

For renewals scheduled on or after January 1, 2027, most Medicaid expansion adults will face eligibility reviews every six months instead of annually. Enrollment teams will therefore handle renewals more often. Administrative coverage gaps can cost health centers reimbursement and increase uncompensated care. In a January 2024 survey, participating health centers reported average revenue losses of about $595,000 tied to Medicaid redeterminations.

Attuned is rolling out deployments ahead of the 2027 changes. Community health centers and health systems can contact the company to begin.

AI assistant identifies forms, collects documents and flags gaps

Patients can use the assistant online or in a clinic. It gives step-by-step guidance in multiple languages and is designed to identify required forms, collect supporting documents and flag missing information. Patients can prepare applications without staff guiding every answer.

Dashboard lets one navigator manage multiple cases in parallel

A dedicated dashboard lets a single enrollment navigator support several patients preparing new applications or renewals at once. Navigators can track each patient's progress, see where attention is needed and step in, while keeping visibility across other cases. The enrollment team reviews every application and its supporting documents before submission.

Lynn Community Health Center CEO Brenda Rodriguez said the center chose Coverage to extend help to more patients and free navigators for those needing extra support, adding that it wants "technology that supports our staff."

Coverage joins Attuned's existing AI-powered voice and chat products in its patient access offering.
