CareSource Employees Raise $75,000 for Nevada Children's Cabinet

Las Vegas – September 15, 2026 -- Employees of nonprofit managed care organization CareSource raised $75,000 for The Children's Cabinet of Nevada through the company's 2026 Workplace Giving campaign.

CareSource Foundation directs employee-driven giving toward mental health programs

The contribution stems from CareSource's "Together We Give, Together We Impact" campaign, administered by the CareSource Foundation, which this year focuses on addressing the mental health crisis affecting communities nationwide. The Foundation has awarded more than $39 million to nonprofits since 2006, targeting poverty elimination and healthy-community initiatives for low- and moderate-income families.

The Children's Cabinet expands services for Nevada families since 1985

The Children's Cabinet, operating in Nevada since 1985, provides parenting education, childcare assistance, free family counseling, wraparound case management and crisis intervention to keep children safe and families together. CEO Kim Young said the funds will strengthen programs and services across the organization.

CareSource Nevada CEO cites employee commitment to local Medicaid communities

Jayme Puu, CEO of CareSource Nevada, said employees came together to support the nonprofit's work for children and families across the state. CareSource Nevada serves Nevada Medicaid and Nevada Check-Up-eligible residents through a provider network spanning every region of the state.

2026 campaign extends beyond Nevada to Ohio and Massachusetts nonprofits

Beyond The Children's Cabinet, this year's Workplace Giving beneficiaries include Ohio-based Integrated Services for Behavioral Health and Massachusetts-based Advocates, extending the mental health-focused campaign across multiple states where CareSource operates.
