CARKU Debuts 3000A and Sodium-Ion Jump Starters at SEMA 2026

LAS VEGAS – November 04, 2026 -- CARKU has raised peak current on its flagship JS-588 jump starter from 1800A to 3000A and is showing a sodium-ion model rated for temperatures down to -40°F at SEMA 2026. Both products are ready for mass production, the company said.

JS-588 jump starter lifts peak current to 3000A for large engines

The JS-588 succeeds the JS-506, a SEMA Global Media Award winner. CARKU says the 3000A rating can start gasoline engines up to 8.0L and diesel engines up to 6.0L, even from fully dead batteries.

The unit combines jump starting, high-pressure tire inflation, real-time digital pressure monitoring and multi-mode LED lighting. It also carries a 74Wh battery with 45W USB-C PD output, an upgraded USB-C1 input of up to 9V/2A and a 1.4kg body with an integrated carry lanyard.

Sodium-ion JS-617N targets diesel pickups and commercial fleets

The JS-617N supplies 12V/24V starting support for diesel pickups, commercial trucks and fleet operations. CARKU says the sodium-ion unit is engineered for temperatures as low as -40°F and has drawn interest from local distributors at the show.

Two factories in China and Indonesia back OEM/ODM supply

CARKU runs two automated manufacturing bases, in China and Indonesia. It offers OEM/ODM jump starter solutions built on LiFePO4 and sodium-ion battery technologies, proprietary safety systems and in-house battery pack development. The company holds 852 global patents and cites compliance with CE, FCC, RoHS and UL standards.

CARKU lists Shell, Costco, Michelin and Bosch as partners ahead of 2027 push

Both models are featured in the SEMA New Products Showcase at Booth South Upper #36064 during the Nov. 3-6 event. CARKU is meeting North American distributors and industry partners to develop aftermarket business for 2027, citing existing partnerships with Shell, Costco, Michelin and Bosch.
