Claroty Named Leader, Customer Favorite in Forrester OT Security Wave

New York – September 07, 2026 -- Claroty scored the highest mark possible in nine separate evaluation criteria, earning both a Leader and a Customer Favorite distinction in The Forrester Wave: Operational Technology Security Solutions, Q3 2026.

Forrester awards top scores across current offering and strategy categories

The nine top scores span vulnerability management, risk modeling and exposure prioritization, secured access management, reporting, IT/OT convergence support, SOC integration depth, and OT-safe deployment models within the current offering category. On the strategy side, Claroty received top marks for innovation, adoption, and pricing flexibility and transparency.

Report cites deep R&D investment behind platform shift from monitoring to full security

Forrester's vendor profile states that Claroty's redesign of its platform, driven by heavy R&D investment, has moved the company from passive monitoring toward a security solution built for heterogeneous OT environments. The report notes Claroty built industry-focused teams spanning sales through support to improve customer adoption across sectors. Forrester also observed that Claroty applies caution in its use of AI for OT security, ensuring customers retain the ability to interrupt automated actions.

Vulnerability and access management capabilities draw specific praise

Forrester highlighted Claroty's vulnerability and risk posture management for providing context on how vulnerabilities affect individual devices or broader OT operations, including configuration assessments and benchmarking against similar customers for risk scoring. The report also pointed to Claroty's OT-specific secure remote access, which applies Zero Trust principles with live session monitoring and full audit trails covering all user actions.

Customer engagement drives Favorite status alongside prior Gartner recognitions

Forrester attributed Claroty's Customer Favorite distinction in part to customer-reported value in the company's close engagement and partnership approach. The Forrester recognition follows Claroty being named a Customers' Choice in the 2026 Gartner Peer Insights Voice of the Customer for CPS Protection Platforms, and a Leader in the 2026 Gartner Magic Quadrant for CPS Protection Platforms for the second consecutive year.

Claroty CEO Yaniv Vardi said the dual Forrester distinction validates the company's approach to securing mission-critical infrastructure, pointing to recent innovations including what he described as the industry's first OT-native AI security agent.
