Clear Channel Renews Florida Airport Ad Deal Ahead of 2029 Expansion

Panama City, Fla. – October 28, 2026 -- Clear Channel Outdoor's (CCO) Airports Division has renewed and expanded its advertising partnership with Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport (ECP) for an initial three-year term with a renewal option, as the airport builds a terminal expansion due for completion in 2029.

CCO wins competitive reselection after two decades at ECP

The partnership dates to 2005, and ECP reselected CCO through a competitive process. CCO described its planned investment in the airport's advertising infrastructure as significant but disclosed no dollar figure.

Double-sided digital flags anchor the new concourse program

The centerpiece is a network of double-sided digital flags throughout the concourse, bringing dynamic content into the terminal. The program also adds experiential activations and refreshed displays. It is designed to give advertisers greater flexibility.

ECP served a record 1.9 million passengers in 2025

Traffic rose 3.1% year over year. The airport has grown steadily since opening in 2010, drawing leisure travelers to Northwest Florida's Emerald Coast for vacations, weekend getaways and outdoor recreation.

American, Delta, Southwest and United fly nonstop and seasonal service to Atlanta, Nashville, Dallas, Denver, Houston, New York, Chicago and Baltimore.

Morten Gotterup, president of CCO's Airports Division, called ECP "a market that performs well above its size." He said the new program will combine digital, experiential and high-impact media.

ECP Executive Director Parker W. McClellan Jr. said the digital infrastructure and activations will modernize the concourses and give local and national brands new ways to reach the airport's growing passenger base.

As construction advances toward the 2029 completion date, the advertising program is intended to scale with the airport and support ECP's long-term revenue goals.
