k-ID Launches Kai SDK to Make Apps Age-Adaptive Across Markets

SAN FRANCISCO – October 29, 2026 -- k-ID has launched Kai, a self-serve SDK that makes any app age-adaptive, and is offering it free for the first 10,000 monthly users of each product, every month.

Kai automates age assurance and applies k-ID's permission decisions

The SDK deploys age assurance and then applies k-ID's age, consent and permission decisions to every user. k-ID says most builders can tell users apart only by a self-declared age, which a growing number of markets no longer accept.

Kai targets the gap between fast app development and slow compliance work. According to k-ID, a small team can build a working app in hours but cannot buy the specialist knowledge to serve every age in every market. Larger companies have that knowledge but still build, review and rebuild, because the compliance answer arrives after the code. Kai delivers it inside the coding agents builders already use.

San Francisco – September 22, 2026 -- The Biological Computing Co. (TBC) has partnered with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to bring what it calls the world's first neuron-derived AI video model to market, cutting inference costs by 80% and speeding generation by 5x compared to the base open-source model.

TBC's software layer runs on standard AI infrastructure without new hardware

The optimization is delivered through a proprietary software layer derived from measurements of living neural activity. The layer adds less than 0.1% to the underlying model's footprint, requires no biological hardware, and demands no change to existing customer workflows, according to TBC.

Scaled Agile Summit Tackles AI ROI Gap as 91% of Firms Miss Value

San Diego – September 14, 2026 -- Only 9% of 1,000 C-suite executives surveyed by the Return on AI Institute report realizing significant value from generative AI, a gap Scaled Agile, Inc. (SAI) aims to address at its SAFe & AI Summit San Diego, running September 14-18 at the Gaylord Pacific Resort & Convention Center.

Survey data exposes an operating-model failure, not a technology gap

SAI, provider of the SAFe business agility framework, points to the Return on AI Institute findings as evidence that the barrier to AI ROI is organizational rather than technical. The company argues that enterprises lack the operating models needed to govern AI initiatives and convert pilot projects into measurable business outcomes.
