Veolia Completes $58M Princeton Meadows Water Plant in N.J.

Plainsboro Township, N.J. – October 07, 2026 -- Veolia has completed a $58 million rebuild of its Princeton Meadows Wastewater Treatment Facility, replacing a 55-year-old plant with climate-resilient infrastructure serving roughly 11,000 residents and businesses in Middlesex County, New Jersey.

New plant moves critical infrastructure out of the 100-year floodplain

The facility was relocated to higher ground outside the original floodplain to protect operations from flooding, a risk that affected the aging site. The upgrade incorporates advanced ultraviolet disinfection technology, high-efficiency biological treatment and energy-efficient equipment designed to meet tightening environmental regulations.
