Summit Hotel Properties Names Mike Nieves CFO, Promotes Wudel to COO
Austin – October 30, 2026 -- Summit Hotel Properties, Inc. (NYSE: INN) has appointed Mike Nieves as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer and promoted Adam Wudel to Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, both effective November 1, 2026.
Nieves moves from PENN Entertainment to run Summit's finance function
Nieves joins from PENN Entertainment, Inc., where he was Senior Vice President of Finance and Treasurer. He oversaw investor relations, capital markets, FP&A, treasury and risk management at the publicly traded gaming, entertainment and hospitality company.
Earlier, he was a Director in JLL's M&A and Corporate Advisory group, advising on dispositions, strategic transactions and capital raising in real estate. Before that, he was a Vice President in Citigroup's Real Estate and Lodging Investment Banking Group, and he started his career as a corporate lawyer at Willkie Farr & Gallagher.
