San Jose and New York – October 05, 2026 -- LeapXpert and Webex by Cisco have launched an integration that lets Webex users message clients on WhatsApp without leaving the collaboration platform, extending governed communication to a user base spanning 95% of the Fortune 500 and roughly 300,000 organizations worldwide.

Integration brings compliant WhatsApp messaging directly into Webex workflows

The new capability, available now on the Webex App Hub, allows employees to sign in with existing Webex credentials on desktop or mobile and engage in text conversations with external contacts on WhatsApp. Every message is screened by data loss prevention controls in both directions, while LeapXpert captures the full conversation for archiving purposes. A Leap Work account and a Webex license are required to use the feature.
