Los Angeles – October 13, 2026 -- Culinary & Cannabis, the nurse-founded experience company that has hosted more than 120 events for over 2,900 guests across nine cities, is relaunching as Savor & Solace, a wellness hospitality brand built around culinary discovery, cannabis education and restorative self-care.
The new brand debuts in Los Angeles with three events at The Resort at Playa Vista: Savor & Solace Table on November 5, and The Canna Spa by Savor & Solace and Savor & Solace Sessions on November 7. All events are open to guests aged 21 and over.
Savor & Solace consolidates its events under one parent brand
The company now operates as a single parent brand with distinct experiences beneath it, so guests can enter through whichever format appeals most. Founder Tamara Anderson, a registered nurse, started the company nearly a decade ago. Its past events have taken place in New York, Atlanta, Las Vegas, Oklahoma City and San Francisco, among other cities.
The new name reflects a business that had already expanded beyond cannabis and food into education, wellness and hospitality. Cannabis stays central to the experience without defining every part of it. The visual identity uses botanical forms and a rising sun in cream, blush rose, soft peach, muted sage and blue-gray, with the brand promise "Ritual. Nourish. Restore."
Three Los Angeles events launch the brand on November 5 and 7
- Savor & Solace Table (November 5, 6:30-9:30pm PST): a chef-led culinary series that weaves plant education into dining, tastings and conversation.
- The Canna Spa by Savor & Solace (November 7, 12:30-5pm PST): massage, facials and CBD-centered wellness services paired with food, beverages, music and brand activations.
- Savor & Solace Sessions (November 7, 4-5pm PST): expert-led conversations and workshops that make cannabis more approachable for adult audiences.
Nurse founder targets the space between stigma and party culture
Anderson built the company for the middle ground between stigma and misinformation on one side and consumption-focused parties on the other. Her aim was controlled environments where adults could learn about the plant beyond smoking, and where nursing colleagues and physicians would feel comfortable attending. Following a cancer diagnosis and continuing health challenges, she stepped back from producing events and is now rebuilding the company on a more sustainable footing.
"The cannabis industry does not need more parties," Anderson said, arguing that the sector needs more education, authentic connection and elevated hospitality.
Suites and a permanent House form the expansion plan
The Los Angeles launch is the first step in a larger plan. Savor & Solace Suites will offer media, talent, gifting and partner hospitality. The long-term vision is Savor & Solace House, a permanent wellness hospitality destination.
The company is also building partnerships across wellness, hospitality, culinary, beauty and cannabis. Partner brands would join through education, product discovery and curated activations rather than logo placement.
