WOBURN – October 30, 2026 -- Cytrellis Biosystems will supply its ellacor system and clinical educators to all three annual cohorts of the University of Miami's 12-week Aesthetic Medicine Certificate Program, under a partnership with the Academy for Aesthetics and Anti-Aging Studies (AFAAAS).
Cytrellis commits equipment, supplies and trainers to each cohort
The company will provide an ellacor system for demonstrations, treatment tips and necessary supplies. Qualified Cytrellis clinical educators will lead designated hands-on workshops, run live demonstrations and discuss appropriate professional use of the device.
The first Cytrellis-supported session is scheduled for October 31, 2026, at the University of Miami Coral Gables campus.
Program targets board-certified advanced practice nurses with 60 contact hours
The certificate is designed for board-certified advanced practice registered nurses. It comprises 40 hours of on-campus class instruction and 20 hours of supervised clinical training, delivered through live weekly sessions. The program was developed in academic partnership with the University of Miami School of Nursing and Health Studies.
Program director Daniel L. Campos, DNP, APRN, founder of the Ageless Forever Institute in Coral Gables, said the support lets students "experience ellacor firsthand."
ellacor removes skin cores without thermal energy
The ellacor system uses proprietary Micro-Coring Technology to remove microscale cores of skin without thermal energy. Cytrellis positions it as an approach to moderate to severe skin laxity in the face and body. The company describes ellacor as the only FDA-cleared non-surgical treatment that removes excess skin to address moderate and severe wrinkles.
Cytrellis CEO Denise Dajles said hands-on training is essential to preparing the next generation of aesthetic providers.
