Georgetown – October 28, 2026 -- Dotwork, an AI-native enterprise operating platform, has acquired Arcario Group, a consultancy specializing in enterprise operating models and transformation. The deal closed October 23, and financial terms were not disclosed.
Arcario becomes the base of Dotwork's services and engineering unit
Arcario will form the foundation of Dotwork's services and forward-deployed engineering organization. Arcario founder and CEO Konstantin Popov joins Dotwork as Head of Transformation Services. Existing Arcario client engagements continue with their current teams.
Arcario's leadership previously built an enterprise operating-model practice that was acquired by Cprime. Dotwork founder and CEO Steve Elliott previously founded AgileCraft, which was acquired by Atlassian.
Dotwork targets the gap between strategy, spending and outcomes
Dotwork's graph-based Enterprise Operating Model connects existing systems rather than replacing them. It links strategy, capital, business capabilities, work, decisions and outcomes. The company says enterprises still manage strategy, funding and work across disconnected systems, which leaves leaders unable to see what investments cost or whether they deliver results.
Elliott said Dotwork is built around investment decisions, "not another workflow or dashboard."
Combined offering follows a three-step Design, Activate, Steer model
- Design: identify gaps between strategic priorities, investments, business capabilities and execution.
- Activate: connect existing financial and operational systems and deploy targeted workflows and AI capabilities without replacing core technology.
- Steer: track decisions, actual costs and outcomes, then adjust investments as priorities change.
Arcario's forward-deployed enterprise value architects will work alongside customers on targeted problems and measure results. The combined teams plan to start with a single high-value business problem, establish a reusable operating model and expand as results are demonstrated, avoiding lengthy transformation programs or bespoke platforms. Lessons from deployments will feed into repeatable Dotwork platform capabilities.
