RENO – October 27, 2026 -- Dragonfly Energy Holdings Corp. (Nasdaq: DFLI) has received a notice of allowance from the United States Patent and Trademark Office for its application titled "Powderized Solid-State Electrolyte and Electroactive Materials," adding to its U.S. intellectual property position in advanced battery cell manufacturing.
Allowed application targets manufacturing processes for solid-state cells
The application covers manufacturing processes that support the company's solid-state battery development. Dragonfly Energy, maker of Battle Born Batteries, has not disclosed commercial terms, production timelines or financial figures tied to the allowance.
Allowance follows multiple international patent approvals
The U.S. notice comes after several recent international patent allowances covering Dragonfly Energy's dry electrode and solid-state battery work. Together, the approvals widen the company's patent coverage around advanced battery manufacturing.
CEO ties patent to scalable production of all-solid-state cells
Chief Executive Officer Dr. Denis Phares said the allowance helps protect materials and processes the company considers central to solid-state battery manufacturing. He added that the team is developing technologies intended to simplify production and support scalability on the path to commercializing all-solid-state cells.
The work forms part of Dragonfly Energy's strategy to build domestic battery cell manufacturing on proprietary materials, powder-based processing and scalable production methods. The company believes these technologies can support future deployment of nonflammable, all-solid-state cells across a range of energy storage applications.
