Eight Group Deploys IFS Industrial AI Across Growing FM Portfolio

London – September 17, 2026 -- Eight Group, a UK facilities management provider scaling through M&A, has rolled out IFS's AI-powered Nexus Black Resolve to 65 engineers within weeks, cutting repair processes that once took hours or days down to minutes.

Eight Group expands its IFS deployment beyond Resolve

Building on the early success of Nexus Black Resolve, Eight Group is adding IFS Loops Digital Workers, IFS Cloud, and Planning & Scheduling Optimization (PSO) to its technology stack. The expanded platform gives the company real-time insight into finance, projects, field service, scheduling, and asset data across its operations as it grows through acquisition.

Engineers capture faults on-site while AI diagnoses and guides repairs

With Nexus Black Resolve, engineers document issues via photo, video, or voice while the AI diagnoses the fault and walks the engineer through the fix. Survey and asset information populates automatically instead of requiring manual entry, reducing paperwork and freeing up time for customer-facing work.

Knowledge Manager speeds integration of newly acquired businesses

IFS Loops Knowledge Manager draws on Eight Group's own technical documentation and past service records to deliver ready-to-use answers directly into engineers' workflows. As each acquired business brings its own data and history into the group, the digital worker helps incorporate that context quickly, smoothing integration and accelerating how fast new teams become operational.

Eight Group targets predictive maintenance to cut unplanned downtime

The facilities management sector is shifting from reactive maintenance -- fixing equipment only after failure -- toward predictive approaches that catch problems before they disrupt client operations. Eight Group CEO Dan Guest said the company is building AI-powered capabilities to help engineers solve problems faster and give customers greater operational confidence as the business scales.

DNASTREAM implementation and IFS Success framework support the rollout

Eight Group is working with implementation partner DNASTREAM and has joined the IFS Success customer framework, giving it access to IFS experts and best practices intended to reduce implementation risk and speed time to value as new operating companies are added to the group.
