EVERSANA Acquires AI-Driven HEOR Firm Estima Scientific

Chicago – October 29, 2026 -- EVERSANA has acquired London-based health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) technology company Estima Scientific, adding generative-AI tools for economic modeling, systematic literature reviews and network meta-analysis to its market access offering. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Estima's web-based generative-AI applications integrate proprietary code. Its consulting expertise and software will be folded into EVERSANA's market access and value & evidence solutions. The aim is to help pharmaceutical companies show a drug's clinical and economic value to payers more efficiently and transparently.

Estima's tools have been validated by NICE and top-tier pharma clients

Tim Reason and Andy Gimblett founded Estima in 2019 after long careers in HEOR and software development. Both co-founders and their team will join EVERSANA's global workforce, which the companies say ensures continuity for existing clients.

Estima's solutions have been validated by large pharmaceutical customers and by health technology assessment (HTA) bodies, including the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) in the United Kingdom.

Deal extends EVERSANA's AI Agency platform strategy

EVERSANA launched its AI Agency platform in 2025 and expanded it in August 2026. The platform is the foundation for the company's AI solutions, and Estima adds to that technology-first build-out.

EVERSANA CEO Mark Thierer said that as the company scales to serve global clients, adding businesses with a "technology first mindset" is critical to its success. EVERSANA serves more than 650 organizations in the biopharmaceutical sector.

Bourne Partners was exclusive financial adviser to Estima Scientific, and Wedlake Bell was legal adviser.
