Finastra, Komgo Partner to Unify Digital Trade Finance via API Link

London – September 16, 2026 -- Finastra has partnered with Komgo to connect their respective trade finance platforms through an open API layer called Trade Innovation Nexus, targeting inefficiencies caused by fragmented systems and manual processing across bank and corporate trade workflows.

Nexus API links Komgo's Konsole platform with Finastra's Trade Innovation system

The integration connects Komgo's Konsole digital trade finance platform with Finastra's Trade Innovation solution without requiring changes to existing bank infrastructure. The companies state the link will reduce transaction times, onboarding delays and manual exceptions through automated workflows, while adding built-in regulatory checks and audit-readiness features.

Komgo gains access to Finastra's broader banking client base

Baptiste Audren, Chief Revenue Officer at Komgo, said Finastra's global presence and open platform approach made it a natural partner. He said the tie-up extends Komgo's multi-bank digital trade infrastructure to a wider set of banks and corporates through Finastra's existing customer network, while giving Finastra clients direct access to Komgo's trade finance network.

Finastra positions partnership as core to open, connected trade finance strategy

Vinay Mendonca, Head of Trade & Supply Chain Finance and Digital Channels at Finastra, said the partnership combines Finastra's trade finance capabilities with Komgo's digital services through the Nexus integration layer to reduce complexity and increase transparency for customers.

Companies to showcase integration at Sibos 2026 in adjacent exhibition booths

Finastra will present the partnership at Sibos 2026 on booth H015, while Komgo will occupy booth I038 at the same event. Komgo, headquartered in Geneva, reports it serves more than 400 clients globally for managing trade instruments including guarantees, standby letters of credit and documentary credits.
