Funraise Launches Integrated Events Suite to End Nonprofit Data Silos

Costa Mesa, Calif. – September 16, 2026 -- Funraise has launched Funraise Events, an integrated fundraising events suite that connects ticketing, auctions, and guest check-in directly to a nonprofit's donor management system, eliminating the manual data re-entry that has long plagued post-event reconciliation.

Funraise builds a single workflow to replace disconnected point solutions

The platform unifies ticketing and registration, table management, live auctions, paddle raises, and real-time reporting into one system tied to a nonprofit's existing donor CRM, campaign sites, and email/SMS communications. Every ticket sale, sponsorship, meal choice, pledge, and paddle raise flows automatically into the same donor record used across an organization's other fundraising tools, removing the need to export and re-import data into separate software.

Five nonprofits co-designed the product before its public release

Funraise partnered directly with five nonprofit organizations—Met Council, New York Cares, Liberty in North Korea, Tim Hortons Camps Foundation, and Chick Mission—to test early versions and shape the workflow, from event-night check-in to post-event follow-up. These partners gave Funraise's product design team direct input on functionality ahead of launch.

CEO says the tool targets a recurring staffing bottleneck after events

"Every nonprofit we've talked to has the same story: their event software works fine for the event, but the second the night is over, someone on their team is stuck manually re-entering data into their source-of-truth donor management system," said Justin Wheeler, CEO and Co-founder of Funraise. He said the platform was built as one continuous system, from first invite to thank-you call, rather than another standalone events tool.

Real-time reporting lets staff track fundraising totals during the event itself

Because ticketing, pledges, auctions, and donations converge in the same data model as Funraise's donor CRM, reporting is continuous rather than compiled after the fact. Jason Swenski, Chief Technology Officer and Co-founder, said development directors can watch event progress live and arrive at a post-event staff meeting with a donor report already built.

Suite covers the full event lifecycle from pre-event invitations to post-event tasks

Pre-event features include custom campaign sites, peer-to-peer fundraising pages, branded donation forms, and drag-and-drop table/seating management. During events, the system supports mobile ticket scanning, configurable paddle-raise tiers, live bidding, and on-screen donation totals. After the event, guest and pledge records populate the donor CRM automatically, triggering staff follow-up tasks and custom dashboards.
