GovSignals Launches Navy Industry Engagement Pilot Project Roundtable

WASHINGTON – November 05, 2026 -- GovSignals has launched the prototype demonstration platform for Project Roundtable, a Department of the Navy (DON) pilot that tests whether one centralized system can replace the Navy's scattered industry engagement channels.

GovSignals runs the pilot under a NIWC Pacific solicitation

The company is executing the effort under a Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific Commercial Solutions Opening, a rapid acquisition process. The pilot supports the DoW Acquisition Transformation Strategy and is meant to assist DON Portfolio Acquisition Executives while improving the experience of current and prospective vendors.

Navy engagement now spans disconnected channels

The Navy currently engages industry through Disruptor Days, conferences, consortia memberships, RDT&E demonstrations and direct program office contact. Project Roundtable will evaluate whether these engagements can be consolidated into a single prototype body of knowledge across participating DON organizations. The goal is to get commercial capabilities to Sailors and Marines faster.

Platform combines public vendor intake with an internal engagement ledger
  • A public, non-CAC intake lets vendors submit and update capability information while keeping their intellectual property rights.
  • An internal collaboration ledger aggregates each engagement into a running record for every participating organization.
  • Capabilities are mapped by technology readiness level (TRL) and shown to participating Navy points of contact.

GovSignals describes the model as a flywheel: industry submits once, Navy stakeholders see capability as it matures, and demand signals return to industry early. Government users get a view of what industry can deliver, when and at what scale.

GovSignals CEO Derek Hoyt said the Navy's global scale and the pace of hardware and software innovation require a "high-fidelity, comprehensive industry engagement hub."

Companies with mission-relevant capabilities are encouraged to submit voluntarily, once, during the pilot period.
