Orlando, Florida – September 14, 2026 -- Grande Lakes Orlando has completed a resort-wide renovation that expands its meetings and events footprint to more than 169,000 square feet across The Ritz-Carlton Orlando and the JW Marriott Orlando, targeting corporate conferences, incentive trips and executive retreats.
Renovated ballrooms and 56 breakout rooms now anchor the property's group business strategy
The multi-year transformation began with guest rooms and has now reached group gathering areas at both hotels. The Ritz-Carlton Orlando offers reworked ballroom, indoor and al fresco event spaces, while the JW Marriott Orlando has redesigned convention space including breakout rooms and outdoor venues. The combined 169,000 square feet includes 56 breakout rooms suited to board meetings, galas and full-property buyouts.
Resort bundles golf, watersports and eco-tours into customizable group programming on its 500-acre site
Groups can book half-day private golf tournaments and twilight glow golf on the resort's 18-hole Greg Norman championship course, alongside wakeboarding clinics, paddleboard and kayak sessions, and cabana pool days. Additional offerings span archery, pickleball, biking tours, laserskeet using infrared shot simulation, guided eco tours along Shingle Creek, catch-and-release fly-fishing, sunrise wildlife safaris across the 500-acre property, mountain biking and a falconry program.
Group fitness capacity reaches 100 guests at the 40,000-square-foot Ritz-Carlton Spa
The spa hosts immersive yoga retreats, sunrise meditation and tai chi sessions for groups of up to 100. Treatment offerings include Aescape, a sensor-driven customizable massage system; the Ammortal Chamber, which combines red light, sound, vibration and hydrogen/oxygen therapy for recovery; and cryotherapy.
Culinary programming ties group events to on-property restaurants including MICHELIN-recommended Primo
Groups can arrange hands-on pasta and pizza-making classes and sommelier-led wine pairings at Primo, cocktail sessions with a specialty mixologist at Highball & Harvest, and a five-course Art of Kobe dinner featuring Kobe beef with live cooking demonstrations. Seasonal events include the Taste of Grande Lakes open-air tasting, winter ice-skating buyouts on the Da Vinci Lawn, and the resort's Christmas Market, all bookable as exclusive group experiences.
Entertainment partnerships add luxury car rentals and NASA-guided helicopter tours to the group itinerary
An exclusive partnership with Corsa HQ allows guests to rent Rolls-Royce, Lamborghini, Ferrari and Bentley vehicles during their stay. A space-themed package with Kennedy Space Center offers a one-day, concierge-guided helicopter trip via EC-130 including NASA tours and a champagne toast. The resort also runs a supervised Ritz Kids drop-off program for children ages 4-12 and customizable Coastal Wake watersports excursions with private captains.
