Halfpricesoft ez1099 2026 Files to IRS IRIS Without a TCC

Redmond – November 06, 2026 -- Halfpricesoft.com has released ez1099 2026 with built-in direct filing through the IRS Information Returns Intake System (IRIS), removing the need for businesses to obtain an IRS Transmitter Control Code (TCC) before e-filing 1099s.

Halfpricesoft transmits returns on the filer's behalf, bypassing what the company describes as a weeks-long IRS application and verification cycle. The release comes as the IRS FIRE system is set to be retired on December 31, 2026.

ez1099 2026 adds Form 1099-DA support for digital asset reporting

The version is available for the 2027 tax season. It supports Form 1099-DA reporting of digital asset transactions, crypto sales and broker exchanges under IRS rules. Direct transmission carries forward, so forms are submitted from the software without external portal uploads.

Automated validation flags invalid TINs before submission

Built-in error checking flags invalid taxpayer identification numbers (TINs) and missing fields before filing, aiming to reduce rejections. Filers can deliver recipient copies electronically or by traditional mail.

Founder Dr. Ge said filing 1099s "shouldn't require weeks of waiting for government transmitter codes."
