Englewood, Colo. – September 11, 2026 -- Stefano S. McGhee, a Massachusetts technology executive who most recently served as Senior Director of Technology Operations for Harvard Business Publishing, has been elected to the Board of Directors of Toastmasters International, taking on a one-year term following the organization's 2026 International Convention in Vancouver, held Aug. 19-22.
McGhee brings enterprise IT leadership experience to a 245,000-member global network
At Harvard Business Publishing, McGhee led a team of cloud engineers, architects, integration engineers and help desk technicians responsible for the availability and stability of critical applications, including Harvard Business Review. Toastmasters International, headquartered in Englewood, Colorado, operates more than 14,000 clubs in nearly 150 countries.
A Toastmaster since 2005, McGhee holds the organization's highest educational designation
McGhee's home club is Network Voice Toastmasters in Weymouth, Massachusetts. He has attained the Distinguished Toastmaster designation, the highest level of educational achievement within the organization, and has held multiple leadership roles prior to his board election.
McGhee holds a master's degree in military operational arts and sciences from the United States Air Force's higher education organization and received the International Security Studies Research Award during his studies.
New board officer to shape Toastmasters' governing policies
As an officer of the Toastmasters International Board of Directors, McGhee will work with the board to develop, support and modify the policies and procedures guiding the nonprofit's global operations. "Toastmasters gives the critical skills to be a better version of yourself," McGhee said, describing the training as preparation for taking on greater workplace and leadership challenges.
