HANGZHOU, China – October 30, 2026 -- Hikvision introduced its Pro-Series UHD cameras, including 16 MP dual-lens models with a seamless wide-angle view, at its third annual SMB event, alongside eight converged security solutions aimed at small and midsize business customers and their installers.
Guanlan AI models move from object detection to scenario-specific alerts
Hikvision said its Guanlan large-scale AI models now cover scenario-specific analytics rather than basic object detection. SMB operators can set automated alerts by describing what matters at their site. The AcuSeek tool lets them find post-incident footage with a typed or spoken query.
To offset the added storage demand of higher-resolution video, the company highlighted Guanlan Encoding.
Quick Pass merges people and vehicle access into one system
Quick Pass combines AI face recognition and license plate recognition with automatic gates and barriers at site entrances. Administrators manage people and vehicle access in a single system instead of switching between separate platforms.
Eight converged solutions link camera, AI and IP speaker
Each of the eight converged SMB solutions connects two or more types of security systems. In one demonstration, a camera identifies a trespasser's attributes, AI converts them into a description, and an IP speaker broadcasts a warning addressed to the person by clothing.
HIKO, the AI engine in Hik-Connect 7 and HikCentral Professional, reduces the manual configuration and searching SMB operators must do across these systems.
Hik-Partner Pro adds automated design and a 24-hour chatbot for installers
HPP Designer reads an uploaded floor plan, recommends devices and places them automatically with coverage simulation. Hik Chatbot answers questions on product selection, technical support and solution design around the clock.
