Hilton Debuts LXR Brand in India With 226-Room Den Bengaluru

BENGALURU – October 27, 2026 -- Hilton (NYSE: HLT) has opened the 226-room The Den Bengaluru in Whitefield, marking the first India property under its LXR Hotels & Resorts luxury brand. The hotel is owned by Dan Hospitality India Pvt. Ltd. and managed by Hilton.

Hilton names India among its most important growth markets

Zubin Saxena, senior vice president and regional head for South Asia at Hilton, said India is "one of Hilton's most important growth markets." He added that the expectations of the country's luxury travellers are creating opportunity for brands that offer individual, experience-led stays. Hilton is continuing to grow its luxury portfolio across the country, and Saxena described Bengaluru as a natural market for the next phase because of its global connectivity and diverse traveller base.

Dino Michael, senior vice president and category head for Hilton Luxury, said the opening brings LXR's hand-selected approach to a city with strong creative and cultural energy. LXR Hotels & Resorts comprises more than 40 trading and pipeline luxury properties.

Five dining venues and 21,000 square feet of event space target business and leisure demand

The hotel's guest rooms, studios and suites combine intuitive technology with interiors designed for business travel, leisure and extended stays. It offers five dining and social venues:

  • Layla, a rooftop restaurant with Indian and Mediterranean influences
  • The Creek, an all-day multi-cuisine restaurant
  • The Nest, a social space for cocktails and curated programming
  • The Deli, serving specialty coffee and artisanal pastries
  • The Cold Press, a wellness counter for cold-pressed juices and smoothies

For meetings, weddings and celebrations, the property provides more than 21,000 square feet of flexible event space across seven venues. These include a ballroom, an auditorium, meeting rooms and an open-air amphitheatre.

Wellness and recreation facilities include The Sanctuary spa, The Studio fitness centre and an outdoor pool. The Playhouse offers digital tabletop games and a pool table, while The Cave is an immersive screening space for social and corporate gatherings.

Two launch programmes tie the stay to Whitefield

The Pause Program adds restorative elements to the guest journey, including a calming arrival experience, a sleep well kit, a pillow menu and nourishing options at The Creek. Whitefield Unscripted takes guests outside the hotel. Its offerings include the Whitefield Verandah Trail, which covers heritage bungalows and longstanding local institutions. In Whitefield's Farm Story, guests harvest produce at a local farm before a personalised meal prepared by the hotel's culinary team.

Hilton Honors integration gives the hotel access to a 260-million-member loyalty base

Vinesh Gupta, general manager of The Den Bengaluru, said joining LXR lets the hotel build on its existing connection to Whitefield, backed by the reliability of Hilton Honors. The program spans Hilton's 28 brands and counts more than 260 million members. Members who book directly through preferred Hilton channels receive flexible Points and money payment options, member discounts and complimentary standard Wi-Fi. They also get digital check-in, room selection and Digital Key through the Hilton Honors app.
