HiTHIUM Hits 200GWh Cumulative Storage Shipments in One Year

Chongqing – October 16, 2026 -- HiTHIUM doubled its cumulative energy storage shipments from 100GWh in August 2025 to 200GWh within a year, the company said at a milestone ceremony on October 15 at its Chongqing manufacturing base.

HiTHIUM climbs from fifth to Global Top 2 in storage rankings

Shipments began at the end of 2021. The company's global ranking rose from fifth in 2023 to third in 2024, and to Global Top 2 in 2025 and the first half of 2026. HiTHIUM attributes the climb to cost leadership, service, and safety and reliability.

The company says the growth reflects strengthening capabilities in long-duration energy storage (LDES), end-to-end integration, lighthouse-factory manufacturing, and global delivery and service.

Chongqing lighthouse factory anchors manufacturing scale

HiTHIUM describes its Chongqing base as the world's first energy storage battery lighthouse factory. It serves as a strategic hub for supply-chain collaboration and large-scale product delivery. The company plans to upgrade the factory's smart manufacturing system.

CEO Jason Wang targets integrated capabilities over individual products

Co-founder and CEO Jason Wang said competition in energy storage is no longer defined by individual products but by integrated capabilities across the entire value chain. He said the milestone was about scaling end-to-end capabilities, not just growth.

HiTHIUM will focus on three dimensions: innovation, systems, and responsibility.

  • Innovation: The company is accelerating global deployment of its first kAh-class integrated LDES solution. It is building full-scenario solutions from cells to the grid under a "New energy + LDES" approach.
  • Systems: Its globalization strategy, "strength at home and abroad are mutually reinforcing," is led by its Xiamen headquarters and backed by the Chongqing base and overseas localization. The aim is end-to-end integration across technology, products, supply chain, and delivery, with stronger global resource allocation and project delivery.
  • Responsibility: The company plans to promote value-chain collaboration through localized operations.

HiTHIUM said it will drive shipments toward the next 100GWh while advancing LDES technology and strengthening global delivery.
