Perth, Australia – September 11, 2026 -- Hot Chili Limited has reported a fresh round of high-grade drill results from its La Verde copper-gold porphyry discovery in Chile, with hole DKP063 returning 398 metres grading 0.45% copper equivalent (CuEq) from surface, including a standout 62-metre interval at 0.91% CuEq from just 20 metres depth.
DKP063 Delivers 398 Metres of Copper-Gold Mineralisation From Surface
Within the broader intersection, DKP063 recorded 12 metres grading 1.00% CuEq (0.66% Cu, 0.49 g/t Au) from 20 metres, and a further 34 metres at 1.00% CuEq (0.80% Cu, 0.27 g/t Au) from 42 metres. Hot Chili said the shallow high-grade continuity strengthens the case for a high-grade starter pit feeding into the Costa Fuego mine plan, located 30 km north of La Verde in Chile's coastal Atacama region.
DKP075 and DKP064 Confirm Lateral Continuity of the High-Grade Core
DKP075 returned a partial result of 132 metres at 0.57% CuEq from 24 metres, including 42 metres grading 0.70% CuEq from 96 metres, with assays for the remaining 177 metres still outstanding. DKP064, collared at the southern margin of La Verde's high-grade core, intersected 126 metres grading 0.45% CuEq from 54 metres, including 26 metres at 0.70% CuEq from 108 metres, plus a deeper 74-metre zone grading 0.35% CuEq from 276 metres, pointing to potential expansion southward.
Updated DKD060 Assay Extends Porphyry System to 765 Metres Depth
Final assays for the deeper portion of previously reported hole DKD060 added 123.1 metres grading 0.30% CuEq from 642.1 metres, extending confirmed mineralisation to 765.2 metres down-hole, near the 772.7-metre end-of-hole depth. The interval included a narrow high-grade zone of 2.3 metres grading 4.56% copper from 655.5 metres, hosted in chalcopyrite-rich veining. DKD060's total reported intersection now stands at 472 metres grading 0.41% CuEq from 49 metres, first disclosed on 24 August 2026, plus the newly added deeper section.
Hot Chili Targets Maiden Resource Ahead of Revised Feasibility Study
Assays from 22 additional drillholes -- two diamond, one diamond tail and 19 reverse circulation -- remain pending as laboratory turnaround improves. Managing Director Christian Easterday said DKP063 is among the strongest near-surface intersections drilled at La Verde to date, adding that comparable grades appearing across the deposit support confidence in the scale of a potential high-grade starter pit for Costa Fuego. Hot Chili is targeting a maiden Mineral Resource Estimate for La Verde later this year, to be followed by a revised Costa Fuego Pre-Feasibility Study incorporating the discovery, ahead of the Costa Fuego Environmental Impact Assessment submission planned for the second quarter of 2027.
