Huawei Launches Upgraded Stellar Intelligent Fabric for Europe

Florence, Italy – October 19, 2026 -- Huawei introduced its upgraded Stellar Intelligent Ultra-Resilient Fabric for the European market at the Huawei Network Summit 2026 Europe (HNS 2026), targeting data center networks that must stay online as scale and complexity grow.

Huawei builds the fabric on StarryWing Digital Map 2.0 and Rock-Solid Architecture 2.0

Johnny Cheng, Vice President of Data Center Network Domain at Huawei Data Communication Product Line, said exponential growth in data center scale and complexity is straining operational efficiency and uptime. Huawei says the solution creates an intelligent, open network fabric that eliminates single points of failure and safeguards critical workloads.

The company cites enhanced intelligence, performance and reliability as the upgrade's core attributes. It pitches the product at enterprises building open data center networks in Europe.

KoçSistem deploys a multi-DC topology with cross-center self-healing

Mesut ÖZCA, Leader Solutions Manager at KoçSistem, said the company used StarryWing Digital Map to deploy a multi-DC topology. Multi-plane networking provides cross-center self-healing, he said, keeping compute services continuously online even during localized hardware failures. The source gives no figures on uptime, cost or scale for the deployment.

Huawei ties its European push to an "In Europe, For Europe" commitment

Bingyu Zhou, Vice Director of Huawei European ICT Marketing & Solution Sales Dept, said intelligence adoption will reshape global industries over the next decade, opening a strategic window for Europe. He listed hyperscale capacity, high throughput, automated O&M, modular architecture and low power consumption as the attributes of Huawei's data center networks, which Huawei says advance Europe's green strategy and industry digitization. Huawei says it works with regional partners to build open network infrastructure.

OEHI and ITU-T standards push open Ethernet for AI and HPC workloads

Aldo Artigiani, Technical Officer of OEHI's Interconnect Working Group, said international bodies including ITU-T and OEHI have rolled out Ethernet standards for artificial intelligence and HPC, delivering higher performance and optimized TCO. He called on the industry to embrace open Ethernet.

Huawei said it will deepen partnerships across Europe to advance data center networking architectures. The announcement came at an executive roundtable titled "Founded on Resilience, Forged by Intelligence: Building Europe's Next-Generation Open Data Center Networks."
