Hycroft Hits Record 30.49 g/t Gold Over 19.6m at Vortex

Winnemucca – October 13, 2026 -- Hycroft Mining Holding Corporation (Nasdaq: HYMC) drilled 19.6 meters grading 30.49 g/t gold and 1,726.72 g/t silver at its Vortex system in Nevada, the best hole in the company's more than 40-year history and the highest gold grades ever reported at Hycroft.

Hole H26D-6175A includes a 1.7-meter interval at 347.07 g/t gold

The high-grade core of the intercept returned 347.07 g/t gold and 9,526.36 g/t silver over 1.7 meters, with visible gold present. The result also marks the highest silver grades ever drilled at Vortex. The hole came from the 2025-2026 Exploration Drill Program.

H26D-6175A also intersected significant intervals of gold and silver mineralization along the full length of the hole, adding to mineralization within the resource.

Silver-equivalent grade exceeds the previous best hole by more than 50%

Executive Chairman and CEO Diane Garrett said the silver-equivalent grade is more than 50% higher than that of the company's previous best hole. She said the combination of higher grades and longer intercepts suggests Hycroft may be getting close to a potential source of the Vortex system.

Intercept extends high-grade zone west and south

The intercept lies farther to the west and south of previously reported high-grade gold and silver intercepts. Hycroft said the style of alteration and mineralization could indicate proximity to a potential source of the Vortex system. The company interpolated gold at a 1.0 g/t cutoff grade to map the Vortex system.

Follow-up drilling is underway at Vortex and Brimstone

Hycroft has already started follow-up drilling and plans to accelerate work at the Vortex and Brimstone systems, the two new high-grade silver systems targeted by the program.

The company cautioned that it has not completed a feasibility study and that exploration results do not constitute a mineral resource or reserve estimate. It also listed risks including gold and silver price fluctuations and its ability to re-establish commercially feasible mining and processing operations.
