Las Vegas – September 08, 2026 -- Hyperscale Data, Inc. (NYSE American: GPUS) held approximately $36 million in cash and restricted cash and roughly 215 Bitcoin as of September 3, 2026, with combined assets totaling near $53 million against a Bitcoin price of approximately $81,500 per coin.
Combined cash and Bitcoin holdings reach nearly 200% of equity market capitalization
The Company's $53 million in cash, restricted cash and Bitcoin represented close to double its recent equity market capitalization as of September 3, 2026. The Bitcoin position alone carried an estimated market value of approximately $18 million.
Company sold Bitcoin to finance Michigan data center construction ahead of neocloud contract
Executive Chairman Milton "Todd" Ault III said the Company sold a portion of its Bitcoin holdings and redirected the proceeds toward building out its Michigan AI data center. The capital deployment prepares Hyperscale Data to perform under a master services agreement (MSA) with a California-based neocloud provider.
MSA covers 20 megawatts and could generate over $1.2 billion across a 20-year term
The MSA calls for deployment of 20 megawatts of capacity, carrying an initial 10-year term with two five-year extension options at the customer's discretion. If both extensions are exercised, the contract is expected to generate in excess of $1.2 billion in revenue over the maximum 20-year term.
Executive Chairman calls the asset sale a deliberate capital-allocation decision
Ault described the move as intentional, arguing that infrastructure investment tied to the MSA carries potential for greater long-term stockholder value than holding Bitcoin. He said the Company's remaining cash, restricted cash and Bitoin still substantially exceed its recent equity market capitalization, adding that current market pricing does not reflect the Company's underlying asset value. The Company cautioned that the comparison excludes liabilities and does not constitute a calculation of net cash, enterprise value or liquidation value.
ACG divestiture remains on track for 2027
Hyperscale Data continues to anticipate the divestiture of its Ault Capital Group subsidiary in 2027, a move that would leave the Company focused on data center operations and digital asset holdings. The divestiture will proceed through an exchange offer involving the Company's Series F Exchangeable Preferred Stock, issued in December 2024 to common and Series C Preferred stockholders.
