Quebec City – September 15, 2026 -- Icentia has appointed Sanjay Voleti as President and CEO, tasking the digital health veteran with accelerating the cardiac diagnostics company's commercial expansion in the United States.
Voleti succeeds co-founder Pierre Paquet after the company built operations across four countries
Voleti replaces co-founder Pierre Paquet, who led Icentia from its founding as a Canadian health-tech startup into an international operator with a presence in Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland and the United States. Paquet said the company's CardioSTAT platform has become a reference point in continuous ambulatory ECG recording and that the time had come to bring in a leader experienced in scaling technology companies internationally.
New CEO brings six years of AliveCor leadership and Amazon, Texas Instruments experience
Voleti spent nearly six years as Chief Strategy and Business Officer at AI-based ECG technology firm AliveCor, overseeing corporate strategy, strategic partnerships and global market expansion. Earlier in his career he held management roles at Amazon and Texas Instruments, leading international teams and global product launches. Immediately before joining Icentia, he co-founded and served as CEO of Adventyx, an enterprise AI platform focused on generative engine optimization.
Icentia to prioritize U.S. hospital and cardiology practice adoption under new leadership
Under Voleti, Icentia will continue investing in ambulatory ECG recording, with priorities set on technology deployment, professional customer acquisition, international operations and customer satisfaction. The company aims to expand access to its end-to-end diagnostic solutions among health systems, hospital networks and cardiology practices, with the U.S. market identified as the primary growth target for the next phase of expansion.
