IDP Launches Agent-Native AI Platform; Dealer Reports 2X Conversion

CAPE CORAL – November 06, 2026 -- IDP (ID Privacy AI) launched its Agent-Native System of Action, an enterprise platform that lets employees and AI agents share customer data and execute tasks across existing systems, backed by a dealer-reported 12% appointment conversion rate versus roughly 6% for traditional business development center (BDC) operations.

Red Rock Auto Group reports conversion doubled against BDC benchmark

Josh Worthington, Vice President of Operations at Tim Dahle and Red Rock Auto Group, said the dealer group's appointment conversion reached 12%, against approximately 6% through its traditional BDC. The figures are customer-reported and have not been independently verified.

Worthington said his previous AI platform could not schedule appointments or generate tasks, so employees had to review every interaction manually.

Universal Agent Protocol drives execution across CRM, DMS and scheduling tools

The platform runs on IDP's proprietary Universal Agent Protocol (UAP), a framework that translates business objectives into authorized actions across supported CRM, dealer management system (DMS), scheduling and enterprise applications. IDP says UAP also handles permissions, exception management and outcome verification, which it says distinguishes it from connectivity protocols that mainly expose tools to AI applications.

Existing systems of record stay in place. IDP's pitch is that conventional systems store business information while its layer coordinates the work, targeting confirmed appointments, coordinated follow-up and exception handling.

Five modules cover agent building, orchestration and shared workspace

The platform combines five components:

  • Agent Studio: configures, deploys and manages AI agents across voice, SMS, email and web channels.
  • Reasoning and multi-agent orchestration: interprets customer intent and delegates actions between agents and employees under business rules and human oversight.
  • UAP: the execution framework described above.
  • Context Graph: links customer identity, vehicle relationships, website signals, communication history and operational events into a continuously enriched customer profile.
  • MyIDP.app: a shared workspace where staff review conversations and manage exceptions, using Teach (guide agents), Tell (direct supported actions) and Blasts (configured customer outreach).
IDP cites 130,000 booked appointments and OEM certification work with three brands

IDP says its technology has supported more than 130,000 booked automotive appointments. The company developed the platform within an ecosystem that includes dealership groups, enterprise software integrations and OEM certification programs involving Nissan, INFINITI and Mitsubishi.

The architecture is built to support both IDP's own agents and compatible third-party agent technologies without replacing systems of record. Founder and CEO Albert Thompson said the future is "humans and AI working as one team."

Paul Sansone Jr., founder of Sansone Jr Auto Group, advised dealers that the AI shift is already under way and that groups combining strong staff with strong technology will gain a significant competitive advantage over the next several years.

IDP is exploring applications beyond automotive in retail, hospitality and home services.
