ZIBO, China – September 03, 2026 -- INTCO Medical (300677.SZ) reported revenue of RMB 6.91 billion (approximately USD 1.03 billion) for the six months ended June 30, 2026, up 40.61% year-on-year, as the disposable glove maker expanded annual production capacity to 107 billion units.
Adjusted net profit surges 165% on operational gains
Net profit attributable to shareholders rose 17.86% to RMB 837.3 million (approximately USD 124.6 million). Adjusted net profit, which excludes one-off gains and losses, climbed 165.00% to RMB 1.06 billion (approximately USD 157.7 million), pointing to stronger underlying operating performance during the period.
Capacity expansion cements position as world's largest glove producer
By the end of the reporting period, INTCO Medical's annual disposable glove production capacity reached 107 billion units, comprising 74 billion nitrile gloves and 33 billion vinyl gloves. The company said the scale reinforces its status as the world's largest disposable glove manufacturer.
Vertical integration into nitrile latex shields raw material costs
The company's value chain spans nitrile latex supply, core manufacturing equipment R&D, glove production and global sales. Through controlling or equity stakes in nitrile latex manufacturers, INTCO Medical said it strengthens raw material security and limits the impact of international crude oil price swings on key input costs, while coordinated domestic and overseas capacity allows it to allocate output according to market demand.
R&D spending rises 20.6% to fund new product lines
R&D expenditure increased 20.62% to RMB 245.9 million (approximately USD 36.6 million) during the period. New products introduced include Syntex Synthetic Latex Gloves, a proprietary glove free of natural latex proteins offering high elasticity and puncture resistance, and Synmax Pro Exam Gloves, an upgraded vinyl glove aimed at hospitality and industrial applications. The company also launched household and safety gloves to address additional application segments.
Automated production line spans 1.6 kilometers with 500 control points
INTCO Medical's newest nitrile glove production line extends more than 1.6 kilometers and includes approximately 500 control points. A distributed precision control system automatically manages temperature and fluid levels based on production conditions, reducing labor and energy consumption while maintaining production stability. Glove product yield remained above 99% throughout the reporting period.
