Herning – October 27, 2026 -- Integris Composites presented lightweight composite vehicle armour at DALO Industry Days 2026, Scandinavia's largest defence exhibition, which drew more than 21,000 attendees and 1,244 exhibitors from 28 countries.

Integris shows composite armour at outdoor stand in Herning

The exhibition ran 19-20 August at MCH Messecenter Herning. Danish Ministry of Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organisation (FMI) case officers, operational units and international delegations attended to discuss future defence requirements.

Integris used its outdoor stand to demonstrate armour intended to protect military vehicles and occupants against modern ballistic threats while cutting the weight of traditional protection systems. The company says lower weight supports vehicle mobility, payload capacity and operational performance. It also presented solutions for aerospace, personal protection and naval applications.

Integris has facilities and staff in Denmark. Adam Read, Marketing and Communications at Integris, said the event gives the company a chance to show its commitment to the region and to learn how protection requirements are changing.

Helle Specht joins defence financing panel a day before the exhibition

Helle Specht of Integris spoke at Danish Defence Industry Day 2026 on the panel 'Financing Defence Growth: What Does It Take to Scale?'. Joachim Finkielman, Director of DI Danish Defence and Security Industries, and Lars Mørch, CEO of Jyske Bank, also sat on the panel.

The conference theme was 'From Requirements to Readiness'. Its programme also covered lessons from the war in Ukraine, NATO readiness and sustainment, scaling European defence production, cross-border industrial cooperation and Arctic security.

Integris says effective protection depends on cooperation between industry, defence organisations, governments and investors, and on the production capacity to meet fast-changing requirements. The company adds that cutting armour weight without compromising protection remains a priority across land, naval and aerospace applications.
