IVI RMA North America Adds Illume Fertility, Expands Northeast Network

Hartford, Conn. – September 11, 2026 -- IVI RMA North America has partnered with Illume Fertility, adding the Connecticut-based provider's five clinics across Connecticut and New York to its regional network. The deal extends IVI RMA's existing Northeast footprint, which includes operations in Boston and New Jersey, into a more integrated multi-state fertility care corridor.

Illume brings nine board-certified specialists into the IVI RMA fold

Illume Fertility's clinical team consists of nine fertility specialists, each board-certified in reproductive endocrinology and infertility as well as obstetrics and gynecology. The physicians hold fellowship training in fertility treatment, hormone regulation, and assisted conception.

Executives frame the deal as network expansion, not just acquisition

"Illume's reputation for clinical excellence, innovative treatment protocols, and exceptional patient care aligns perfectly with our mission to expand access to top-notch fertility services," said Lynn Mason, Chief Executive Officer of IVI RMA North America. Dr. Thomas Molinaro, Chief Medical Officer of IVI RMA North America, said the partnership gives patients in Connecticut access to the company's broader clinical research and innovation pipeline. Dr. Mark Leondires, Medical Director of Illume Fertility, said joining the network preserves Illume's care model while adding access to a larger pool of clinical services and research infrastructure.

IVI RMA North America scales through regional consolidation

IVI RMA North America now comprises Reproductive Medicine Associates, Boston IVF, and Toronto-based TRIO, operating 27 IVF laboratories. The network recorded more than 11,000 births in 2025 and has published over 1,000 research papers on fertility treatment, including work on preimplantation genetic testing (PGT-A), single embryo transfer, fertility preservation, and LGBTQ+ care. Parent company IVI RMA Global employs more than 6,000 people across 200-plus locations in 15 countries.
