San Diego – November 02, 2026 -- Ivy Fertility has launched Sage Reproductive Center, a Midwestern practice of five physicians operating six clinics in St. Louis, Milwaukee and Chicago, lifting the national network to 75 physicians across 18 practices and 35 locations in 12 states.
The launch takes Ivy Fertility into three new Midwestern states. Sage brings together four reproductive endocrinologists and one obstetrician-gynecologist.
Sage covers the full fertility service line across six clinics
The practice offers fertility evaluation and treatment, fertility preservation, IVF, male infertility care, LGBTQIA+ and third-party reproduction, and recurrent pregnancy loss treatment. Its offering includes Ivy's proprietary Gentle IVF, an approach Ivy says reduces the physical and emotional burden of treatment without compromising outcomes.
Five founding physician partners bring academic and surgical depth
The reproductive endocrinologists are Amber R. Cooper, Ellen Hayes, Fabiola Balmir and Juan Alvarez. Sara Rizk, a board-certified OB-GYN and gynecologic surgeon with pelvic surgery fellowship training from Emory University, completes the group.
Cooper completed her OB-GYN residency and REI fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis. Ivy describes her as an internationally recognized expert in artificial intelligence and automation in fertility care. Hayes has treated patients in Wisconsin for more than 15 years. Alvarez specializes in third-party reproduction, fertility preservation and diminished ovarian reserve, with a focus on LGBTQIA+ fertility care.
Ivy's physician-led model supplies administrative and technology infrastructure
Sage operates on Ivy's administrative, operational and technological infrastructure, which Ivy says lets its physicians concentrate on individualized care. Cooper said she is "excited about what we can create together for patients across the Midwest."
Ivy's network now includes 18 practice brands, among them Dallas IVF, Los Angeles Reproductive Center and Utah Fertility Center.
