Jereh Launches 1,400 kW Saturn Modular Gas Gensets With Yuchai

YANTAI – October 30, 2026 -- Jereh Group has launched its Saturn modular gas gensets, led by the SATURN C4 unit rated at 1,400 kW continuous output. The company says factory prefabrication cuts installation time by 70% and that gas-fired generation costs 60%-70% less than diesel.

The launch took place on October 28 at Jereh Equipment Manufacturing Industrial Park. The first genset rolled off the line the same day. Hanyang Li, Party Secretary and Chairman of Yuchai Group, led a delegation to the unveiling.

Yuchai supplies the power core, Jereh the integration and controls

Yuchai provides the high-performance power core. Jereh contributes equipment integration, intelligent control and global after-sales service. Saturn is a cornerstone of Jereh's Gas-to-Power strategy, which now covers gas treatment, gas boosting, clean generation and intelligent control.

Jereh Group Chairman Zhiyong Li said global power demand keeps rising, while conventional fixed gas-fired power plants have lengthy construction cycles and struggle to adapt to changing consumption scenarios.

Factory-completed assembly cuts on-site installation time by 70%

Assembly, electrical commissioning, calibration and full-load verification are all completed in the factory. On site, the units need only gas, cooling water and power connections. No civil works, second-round commissioning or auxiliary equipment are required.

The series comes in skid-mounted and trailer-mounted configurations. It runs standalone or in intelligent multi-unit paralleling, and is compatible with 50 Hz and 60 Hz grids. Customers can start with one module and add units as demand grows, avoiding a large one-off outlay.

SATURN C4 delivers 1,400 kW continuous from four 19.6 L engines

The SATURN C4 carries four 19.6 L engines and reaches up to 1,540 kW maximum. Power ratings follow the ISO 8528 COP (Continuous Operating Power) standard, so the quoted output is the load the unit can sustain over the long term. Jereh says its performance metrics are defined under stated test boundaries and reproducible measured data.

Paired with the Jereh Energy Cabin, the genset holds voltage and frequency better than ISO 8528-5 G2 during a 70% step load acceptance. It recovers in under 2 seconds.

Associated-gas generation costs RMB 0.45-0.60/kWh, 60%-70% below diesel

Generating on oilfield associated gas yields up to 3.9 kWh/Nm3. The levelized cost of gas-fired power is roughly RMB 0.45-0.60/kWh. Target customers are oil and gas fields and industrial parks.

Jereh plans to keep developing three strategic business tracks: data center power supply, industrial energy and new power systems. It aims to accelerate the intelligent, large-scale and global rollout of its clean power equipment.
