JETSET Pilates Opens Lakewood Ranch Studio With 300 Founding Members

Lakewood Ranch – October 28, 2026 -- JETSET Pilates opened its first Lakewood Ranch studio in mid-October with approximately 300 founding members, marking the franchise's entry into the Sarasota-Bradenton market.

Lakewood Ranch becomes the fifth Tampa-area site for franchisee Pure Form Studios

The 16-reformer, 2,400-square-foot studio at 8386 Market St. is operated by Pure Form Studios, the development group led by co-owners Lauren and Patrick Christopher. The group already runs JETSET studios in Downtown Tampa, South Tampa, Carrollwood and Westchase.

Patrick Christopher's background spans finance, real estate and technology. Lauren Christopher's covers marketing, operations, brand building and customer experience.

A 15-studio development agreement covers Tampa and Sarasota

The Lakewood Ranch opening falls under a development agreement for 15 JETSET studios across the Tampa and Sarasota markets. St. Petersburg and other high-growth submarkets are under evaluation for future openings.

Lauren Christopher called Lakewood Ranch "a natural next step" in the group's Tampa-area growth.

Pure Form Studios projects 450 jobs at full buildout

The Lakewood Ranch studio is expected to create approximately 30 local roles, including general managers, studio leads, community leads and certified instructors. At full buildout, the Pure Form portfolio is projected to support approximately 450 roles across its JETSET locations, plus additional leadership opportunities.

The launch event featured a ribbon cutting and instructor meet-and-greets with local partners Bentley Sarasota, House of Etch, Caviar Social, Balloon Bar and Reform Coffee. Before opening, the studio built a local following through events such as "Puppies & Pilates" and partnerships across Lakewood Ranch, Sarasota and Bradenton.

JETSET has sold more than 400 territories since franchising began in 2022

Tamara Galinsky founded JETSET in Miami in 2010. The brand sells a 50-minute, music-driven Reformer Pilates class and backs franchisees with a certification program through the JETSET training academy.

The brand reports more than 400 studios open or in development across the U.S., the U.K. and Australia. JETSET President and CEO Bertus Albertse credited the Christophers' hands-on development approach for leading the brand's growth in Tampa.
