JinkoSolar Launches 510 W Tiger Neo 5.0 Residential Module

Shangrao – October 17, 2026 -- JinkoSolar Holding Co., Ltd. (NYSE: JKS) unveiled Tiger Neo 5.0, an all-black residential module that delivers 510 W maximum power at 25.52% module efficiency, roughly 30 W more than conventional back-contact (BC) products.

First 48-cell all-black version targets premium rooftops

The first Tiger Neo 5.0 version to reach the market is an all-black 48-cell module. JinkoSolar designed it for premium homes and other architecturally refined residences, where appearance weighs alongside output. The module has a deeper and more uniform black finish than conventional BC modules, which the company says helps it blend into dark-colored rooftops.

TAC cell technology lifts peak cell efficiency to 28%

The module is built on JinkoSolar's new TAC technology, which combines the carrier transport of TOPCon with the low-temperature processing and positive electrode passivation of HJT. Peak cell efficiency reaches 28%, which the company describes as approaching the theoretical limit of monocrystalline silicon cells. At module level, a zero-gap cell layout and hidden-ribbon technology bring efficiency to 25.52%.

Temperature coefficient of -0.24%/°C supports hot-climate yield

Semiconductor-grade low- and high-temperature processes cut the power temperature coefficient to -0.24%/°C. JinkoSolar says this yields stronger energy output in high-temperature environments, and that the coefficient is lower than that of conventional BC products.

CEO frames launch as shift toward application-specific modules

Charlie Cao, CEO of Jinko Solar Co., Ltd., said the company aims to help move the industry toward solutions tailored to specific applications. He said Tiger Neo 5.0 combines innovations in cell technology, passivation processes, structural design, module format and interconnections.
