Singapore – September 22, 2026 -- J.P. Morgan Payments has selected Thunes to expand its Xpedite Remit solution, granting clients access to 12 billion mobile wallets and bank accounts across more than 100 payment corridors worldwide.
Thunes network unlocks real-time payouts across 100+ corridors
The expanded partnership combines J.P. Morgan Payments' connectivity to local real-time payment rails with Thunes' Direct Global Network, enabling clients to send same-currency or FX-converted payouts to bank accounts and mobile wallets from a single account and connectivity point. The solution offers principal protection and end-to-end traceability for transactions routed through 24/7 real-time payment networks.
Chase's 94 million customers gain faster inbound and outbound transfers
The Consumer and Community Bank at JPMorganChase will extend the enhanced rails to Chase accounts, which serve approximately 94 million consumer and small business customers, supporting faster payout experiences and real-time inbound payments into the U.S.
Rollout targets high-volume remittance corridors including India, Mexico, Nigeria
The initial deployment covers use cases such as instant supplier settlements, bill payments and remittances, launching globally with focus on markets with significant cross-border remittance flows: India, Mexico, Bangladesh, Brazil, China, Colombia, Indonesia, Kenya, Nigeria, Pakistan and the Philippines.
